AI bank matching

AI reads payer names and messy references to match the bank rows the rules couldn't place.

ManagersNewUpdated

After a bank import, Kelvo Nest's rules match payments by invoice number, payer name and amount. AI then looks at the incoming rows that are left: no suggestion, or one below 85% confidence. It handles typos in references, a relative paying on someone's behalf, and similar cases.

How it runs

  • It starts automatically when an import finishes, if rows need review. You can keep reviewing meanwhile.
  • If it hasn't run, the banner shows Ask AI to match; for rows left over, Ask AI to match the rest.
  • Each row is checked once. Up to 500 rows per organization per day.

When it records a payment by itself

Only when all of these are true:

  • The AI is at least 90% confident.
  • It picked a specific invoice, not just a unit.
  • The amount exactly equals that invoice's open amount.
  • The rules didn't suggest a different unit or invoice.

These appear under Matched with an AI matched chip; hover it to see the reason. Everything else becomes a suggestion in Needs review with an AI suggestion chip, a confidence and a one-sentence reason. Accept, Assign… or Ignore it as usual.

Accept high-confidence (≥ 85%) accepts AI suggestions as well as rule suggestions, so check them first. Without AI the banner doesn't appear and the rules work as before.
