Roles explained
Who can do what in Kelvo Nest, from owners and accountants to board members and residents.

Every person has a role in each organization. The role decides what they can see and change. Kelvo Nest checks it on every action, not just in the menus.
| Role | What they can do |

| Owner | Everything, including managing other owners. |
| Admin | Organization details, bank account, members, approval rule and announcement languages, plus everything a manager can do. |
| Manager | Buildings, units, residents and meters; billing and payments; maintenance; announcements; votes, meetings and documents. |
| Accountant | Billing periods, readings, pricing, expenses, adjustments, invoices, payments, bank import and reminders. |
| Staff | Maintenance requests, preventive schedules and vendors. |
| Board | Votes, meetings and documents, and approving large expenses. |
| Resident | Their own home only: invoices, meters, repairs, notices, votes, documents and messages. |
- Every team role can see the manager area, but can only change what its role allows.
- Large expenses are approved by owners, admins or board members, never by the person who entered them.
- Residents get their role automatically when they're added to a unit; they're never invited as members.
- Someone can be both a manager and a resident. Switch with My home or Manage properties in the account menu.
