Pay a repair from the reserve fund
Book a withdrawal from the reserve fund, with board approval when your rule asks for it.
ManagersUpdated
Every invoice line for a reserve fund expense type is saved for the unit. Billing › Reserve fund shows what is available in total and per building.
Book a withdrawal
- Step 1: Press Withdraw, say what the money is for and choose the fund: the whole organization or one building.
- Step 2: Pick the period to book it in (any period that isn't closed), the amount and the date. Add the supplier, invoice number and file if you have them.
- Step 3: Press Book withdrawal, or Send for approval when the board has to decide first.
The amount is split over the units in the fund by what each has saved, so every owner's share of the fund stays right. A withdrawal isn't billed to anyone, and it can't be more than the fund holds.
Board approval
- Withdrawals at or above the threshold on Governance › Approvals wait for the board, like large expenses. Switch on Every reserve fund withdrawal to have the board decide on all of them.
- Nothing leaves the fund until the last approval. One rejection stops it; cancel the request afterwards.
- The period can still be finalized, but it can't be closed while a withdrawal in it is waiting.
