Getting started
Self-managed associations
Run your association without a management company: the board gets every manager permission.
ManagersUpdated
Many associations are run by their own board. In a self-managed association members with the Board role can do everything a manager can: buildings, units and meters, billing periods and expenses, invoices, payments and bank import, maintenance, notices, documents, votes and meetings.
Turn it on
- Step 1: When you create the organization, choose Self-managed association.
- Step 2: For an existing organization open Overview, scroll to Management, choose Self-managed association and press Save. Only owners and admins can change it, and the change is kept in the audit log.
- Step 3: Invite the other board members under Members with the Board role.
Board members who live in the building
A board member who is also a resident switches between the manager area and their own home from the account menu (My home / Manage properties).
If you later hire a management company, switch back to Managed by a company and invite them as Manager. The board keeps its approval and voting rights.
