Reading deadlines and estimated readings
When you can submit, what "Estimated" means, and how unusual use is flagged.

When to submit
The top of Meters shows the dates you can submit readings for this month. You'll get an email when submission opens and another two days before it closes. Once it closes, your manager takes it from there.
Estimated readings
If a reading is missing, your association may bill an estimate based on your usual use. It's marked Estimated on the meter and on the invoice.
- While submission is still open you can replace an estimate with a real reading.
- Your next real reading corrects the difference. If the estimate was too high, you're credited on your next invoice.
Unusual use
If use is much higher, lower or zero compared with your usual, the meter shows a note such as Higher use than usual. A sudden rise can mean a leak or a running tap, so it's worth a look.
Each meter card also shows your recent history: last period, average and a chart of the last readings.
