Replace a meter

When a meter is swapped mid-month, both meters are billed for that period: the old one up to its final reading, the new one from its start value.

1. 1Step 1: Open the period (it must be open or in review) and go to 1. Readings.
2. 2Step 2: Find the old meter, open the row's ⋯ menu and choose Replace meter….
3. 3Step 3: Enter the old meter's Final reading, the new meter's Serial number and Start value, and the date it was Replaced on.
4. 4Step 4: Press Replace meter.

The old meter becomes inactive and shows "Replaced → (new serial)". The new meter appears in the list from now on.
