How AI works in Kelvo Nest
Where AI helps, what data it uses, and why a person always has the final say.

Kelvo Nest uses AI only where it works with your own data and saves real effort. It suggests and drafts; people decide. Nothing is added to the books from an AI reading until someone confirms it, and the few automatic actions are limited to near-certain bank matches you can void.
For managers
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supplier invoice reading | Reads uploaded supplier invoices into an expense you review. |
| AI bank matching | Finds the invoice behind payments with messy references or names. |
| Monthly brief | Summarises what needs attention this month, with links. |
| Minutes draft | Drafts meeting minutes from the agenda, attendance and vote results. |
| Annual report | Collects the year's figures and drafts a narrative for owners. |
| Document answers | Answers questions from your document library, with sources. |
| Repair triage | Suggests category, priority and vendor, and flags safety risks. |
| Unusual use explanations | Explains flagged readings in plain language. |
| Notice translation | Translates announcements into your organization's languages. |
For residents
- Ask about your bill: answers from your own invoices, payments and readings.
- Document answers: ask about house rules, minutes and reports.
- Meter photo reading: reads the number from your meter photo for you to check.
Your data
- AI only sees data the person using it is allowed to see. A resident's assistant can only read that resident's own unit.
- Data never crosses from one organization to another.
- Each organization has daily AI limits, and every AI request is logged with its cost.
- If AI isn't set up or a limit is reached, everything still works by hand.
